A True Friend

Lean on me when you're in pain Lean on me when you can't stand the rain Lean on me when something's wrong Lean on me when your world seems too long Call on me when you get a problem Call on me to help you solve them Call on me to be a friend Call on me until the very end Believe in me and feel no pain Believe in me and trust our gain Believe in me I'm always here Believe in me to wipe your tears So whenever you're feeling down and out And you fear there's no one to run to Always remember this one thing I'll always be here to love you
