A True Friend

Every time I look at you time stands still.

I can't believe it’s almost said and done.

We might forget, but no one ever will.

Because we all have fought the fight and won.

We sit and wait until that fateful day,

Where we will meet and become friends again

When our paths cross again we all will say,

This is where the new wave of fun begins.

Oh how I've missed seeing you everyday

We used to laugh and tell secrets a lot.

Tried to help friends who didn't have a say

Until we ran out of helpful thoughts.

These are the memories I will cherish.

Because of you ,my friend, they will not perish.
