True Happiness

I’ve been thinking again. About my place here. Right now as an individual. Whether or not I have made the most of my time here on this Earth and whether or not I will continue down this consistent path my life has begun to follow. I’ve been consistently lonely. And not the kind of loneliness that can bring a sense of cataclysmic fear. But, more so the type of loneliness that gives someone a sense of clarity. Perspective is tricky. We as people need to remove ourselves from our narrow perspective as an individual and look at the world through another’s eyes. We need to see the world for what it truly is. We can’t hope to grow if we can’t do that much. And if there’s one thing I hope for every single person on this earth it’s that we never stop growing. We are not limited as the person we are. Though no two are ever the same. We are in a sense limitless. We are capable of so much as a race. But, because of the very same constructs we put upon the world to keep us together we have become limited. We box ourselves into shackles that don’t even exist in the real word, yet keep us bound from real progress as if they were made of steel. We’re made up of every person who has ever wronged us just as much as we are a part of every individual who has truly loved us. We are a grand master piece of many small interlocking parts. We are not defined by a single part, but by its collective. I’m not the tragedy that has worked its way into my life nor am I the compassion that has made that pain bearable. I am me. And that is so much more than any one person can hope to comprehend. Everyone is so utterly fantastic and I’m in awe at the love and light I see in every stranger I pass on the streets eyes. That despite the confusion and lack of direction every one of our lives takes we continue to move forward. There is beauty in you. So, trust me when I say that whatever you believe you were put here to do. That you are capable of it. Whatever it is. No matter how intangible and far off it may seem. It is possible. You can have a family and find real love. It doesn’t have to be a romantic partner. It can be in a child you adopt or your best friend. You can change the world, even if that means saving just one life. You should not be defined from any one mistake. No matter how permanent it may feel. You can be single and still be happier than any one of your friends in a relationship. You hold within yourself a monstrous power, so promise me that you’ll never take that for granted. But, most importantly, promise me you’ll never stop growing." -This is long and has no real direction, but writing helps me, so here's this tangent that no one asked for haha I love every single one of you. Even if I'll never get the chance to truly know you. I can say with a certainty that you deserve all the happiness this world can offer. And that no matter what you're going through you're never alone.
