True Heros
Tights and neon colors are not looked for.
They do not speak the truth about saving.
Flying and super strength are nothing more,
Than a hopeless dream of a numb craving.
Nothing super is needed, just enough.
A protection anywhere, day or night,
A saving grace, yet a little tough.
A person who defends against without needing fame,
Standing courageously for the truth.
An unknown, but an honest name.
An honorable one that always survives
A person who helps because it is needed,
Even if the people do not see it.
Heroes are around.
They are not flashy or needed to be seen,
But they are there.
For those who care,
And those who will never utter good-bye.
