True Hurts

She looked at him
with crystal eyes
a strange piercing stare

and force the truth
a painful truth
from within his clenched maw

others watched in wonder
as he slowly skulked away
defeated and downtrodden

He said he tried
to say a lie
but the truth was forced from him

for she, queen
once again had
proved her mystique powers
