True Love

Too good to be true You made me fall in love with you Head over heels So this is how love feels? I am trying so hard not to sound cliche With these words I want to say Right next to you is where I long to be With your arms wrapped tightly around me It feels just like a dream And makes me want to scream From the rooftops looking down Telling it to everyone all over town Inside I can feel the butterflies Every time I look into your eyes My heart, it tends to race Every time I see your face What is this thing you do to me? With you I feel alive and free You make me want to dance and sing With you, I want to do everything I cannot wait for the day we meet That will be a day that cannot be beat Into your outstretched arms I will run And remain there with the setting sun It is like a fairy-tale come true Whenever I spend my time with you You love me as I am, flaws and all And you will always catch me if I fall You have given me your heart But that was just the start Each day my love for you grows deeper In you, my love, I have found a keeper You seem to fill the missing part of my soul And now, no longer is there a hole With you I seem to have found my place The emptiness gone without a trace You bring the sunshine on a cloudy day You know how to take my pain away You are my very best friend I will love you to the very end
