True Love

love in a sense is a two sided connection

a bond that takes two, and upon inspection

neither is weighed down by the other

pure feelings for eachother bearing the title lovers

no harsh tones, no picking up to a dial tone 

love is one day walking down the aisle, woah'

let me not get ahead of myself

im only describing what ive been through myself

love is caring for someone and not letting them slip away

love, is thinking of said person day after day

not being obsessive compelled by desires

cause when darkness consumes you your relationship expires

the other person tires and just wants to leave

like why should they be the one to recieve

harsh comments and the one they love being mean

love has up and downs, but TRUE love, well lets just say the grass is green

no fights, no being left alone on cold nights

no being in fights no moving out and carrying your stuff down 5 flights

love is putting your life on the line for the one you love

love is putting them before you, putting their wants above

what you want, cause theyre what you need

cause once a relationship shatters, the shards will slice you open and youll start to bleed....
