True Love

love is a word that just gets tossed around

people don't unsterstand it's true meaning, it's beautiful sound

love is putting others' needs before your own, 

it's not walking around with matching t-shirts with him looking like your clone

love is keeping them safe and out of harms way

or trying to cheer them up when they have had a bad day

love is staying with them through the bad and the good

loving them unconditionally like people always should

love is making sure they are okay

and sending them a cute text to brighten up their day

love is being there for them when times get hard

helping them through all their struggles that made them emotionally scarred

love is being their shoulder to cry on 

to hold them tight until their sadness in gone

love is all this and so much more

but im afraid trying to list them all would be quite a chore

love is greater than any great force 

it bonds together two individuals with no feeling of remorse
