True Love

For one does not know the meaning of love

Until one has fallen captive

For now, they think of only the other

And how it all had happened

Instead of knowing the simplest of things

like favorite foods and colors

They find they yearn to know more

About this amazing wonder

Too painful and happy memories

The bad and the good

Your passions and your fears

To reliving your childhood

But you must be warned

For love takes courage

For love is simple

Love is kind

To make love work

You must not only use your mind.

This poem is about:
Our world
