True Love

Love is fickle, or that's how it feels.
When it feels like its fleeting in front of you, what is it you can do?
Say those monotonous words you are so fluid in saying, i'm sorry.
Apologize! From the deepest depths of your soul.
Though that isn't what they truly want, no, they want you in their palm.
Your apologies give them strength. It gives them power to make you feel...
As though you have done something so monumentally wrong. Yet, you're just being youself.
Though their words make you feel like you've done nothing right, and you are the cause for all thier strife.
However, when you look at the picture in it's entirety, you realize this is it, this is your life.
The life that they control, because... they... love... you?
They make you ache in your heart, your bones, and you feel like you drown in your tears.
Though, a moment, a minuscule moment that seems like nothing.
It isn't nothing though, it is something, something big.
It's the moment when YOU decide YOU are done playing thier games.
The moment you take control of your emotions, your thoughts, you.
In that moment and the moments that follow, you are indestructible, undefeatable, powerful...
In every way you were destined to be.
Free.
You look yourself in the face and say,
"I can do this. I will get through this. I will come out of this stronger than ever."
"I love you." saying those three words to yourself, you find no one else's can compare.
If you LOVE YOURSELF, then, you don't NEED someone else's fickle love.
Loving yourself is the healthiest relationship there is.
No one can ever love you in all the right ways if you don't first take time to become...
Confident in yourself.
Once you love yourself to the fullest extent humbly...
Then no one can fool you with thier fickle love,
For you will know what love honestly is, and what you ultimately deserve.
