True Love

A dog without a feather,

A car without a sail,

My life without you pointless

As a frog without a tail.

As warts are for a princess,

Your love is for my life.

I need you like a daisy

In the springtime needs a knife.

What I'd do without you,

I will never know.

Myself without your love

Is like a summer with no snow.

So let us come together

As we're clearly meant to do.

Like the cocaine to my rehab,

You're the lever to my shoe.
