True Love's First Kiss

A baby

Cursed before she could speak

Promising that once she turned sixteen

Would prick a spinning wheel

And not only sleep until woken by

True love's first kiss

But Aurora would become Austin

So she would have no true love to wake her

Or him

By the time his true love came to the rescue.

The fairies

Wanted to protect the child, but

The parents,

Reluctant to let their newborn baby go,

Were persuaded only when the fairies

Changed to appear as peasant women

Who would hide their baby

Until she turned sixteen

Fast forward

To the princess's sixteenth birthday

She ventured into the woods to pick berries

So the fairies could make her a cake.

But she met a boy in the woods

And fell in love with him.

She knew not of the curse

And returned to the cabin in the woods

Hopelessly love struck

But the fairies broke her heart when they told her

About her curse.

Little did they know,

The crow

Sent by Maleficent was

Listening in through the window.

The second mistake the fairies made

Was letting Aurora have time to herself,

For when they left Maleficent drew her in

And compelled her to prick her finger.

It was too late

When the fairies arrived to save the Princess,

For she,

Now he,

Lay on the floor

Seemingly lifeless

And no more was the beautiful Princess Aurora,

But now the new Prince Austin.

Maleficent was

Able to capture her forest lover

And throw him in a dungeon.

The fairies discovered this,

Broke him out,

Provided him with weapons,

And onward he went to save the

Princess--

The fairies did not tell him she

Was now a he

For they feared if he knew

He would refuse to save him.

Prince Phillip,

Aurora's lover from the forest,

Battled his way to the tower where

Prince Austin was locked up, sleeping.

The fairies were right behind him,

Wondering how to break the news

When they encountered a dragon,

Maleficent herself,

As a last resort to stop Prince Phillip
From saving Prince Austin, whom

Maleficent knew would still be

Austin's true love.

Phillip and the fairies

Mortally wounded Maleficent

And ended her evil.

The curse

Still stands. Reluctantly, the fairies

Guide a misguided Prince to

Where Austin lay,

Still asleep in the tower.

Prince Phillip reaches

The bedside of Prince Austin

And realizes he was the

Girl from the forest,

The Person he fell in love with

At first sight.

The fairies could not explain what he

Just found out, but somehow

He knew that the Prince that lay

In front of him was undeniably still his

True love.

Prince Phillip

Leaned over the bead and

Kissed Prince Austin

For true love's first kiss

Which awakened Prince Austin.

Both Princes

And the fairies returned to

Austin's kingdom,

Explaining to their parents

And the entire kingdom

That it was, in fact,

True love's first kiss

That woke the cursed child.

The parents

Only wanted their child back,

Returning safely to the kingdom.

At that moment they realized it was

Phillip and Austin who met in the woods

And there declared their love for each other.

They could not be happier

And threw them a
Wedding

The next day, still binding the two

Kingdoms together the way the

Kings decided when they were children.
