True Relationship

I want a true relationship. The relationship where the love is equal; the relationship where if we ever argue we still love each other and we make up and everything’s fine. The relationship where we both understand each others standards and we both respect each other. The relationship where we can share our secrets with each other and trust that they will stay only between us. The relationship where we can tease each other and know that we are only playing. The relationship where we both miss each other to the extent where we can’t stand not being in the same spot. I want that relationship where we can talk on the phone day and night and always have something to talk about, never getting bored. The relationship where we can just sit down and cuddle together and NOT focus on sex because we are both willing to wait. The relationship where I can look her in the eyes, run my hands through her hair, lean in, give her a kiss and tell her she’s beautiful. The relationship that I’m actually happy to be in. She’ll be not only my heartbeat but my help me. She’ll be that one special girl; the one I call my one true love.

While I'm not sure what makes this poetry, it flowed and I agree with what you say, especially the part about waiting. Have you thought about breaking ideas up into lines like Billy Collins? I think it would make it easier for new readers to become interested in what you have to say. (By the way, I saw that you commented on someone else's work. Thank you.)
