A True Sound

Teacher Teacher

The words I say

If only could to you one day

Are true and clear

As the sky is blue

The thing I did

The work you gave

It helped me grow in all ways

But really the things

I learned while sitting in your class

Really didn’t help me in my days of last

There are things that I should know

That was never thought

That was never shown

Of but thank you God

Thank you true

That I know a wavelength, circles, and a triangle or two

I your class you told us often

Listen well listen true

This will help you out

In a year or two

That we would need it someday

That it was all around

But today I write this message

To say there was no truth to this sound

If we tried to be our self

you would shut us down

wanting us not to make a sound

you called it respect

but really it was just bullying

you want us to sit and be silent

but this day to this sound

the truth will come fort

and you can't shut us down
