True words

Were your words true? Or only a figment of my imagination?

The world keeps spinning and my body keeps on breathing

But my soul is lost in a dark room

No windows, no doors, no way out

Im stuck with your lies revolving around

Choking me, suffocating, murdering

In my shadow you see, the girl I used to be

The youth you wish back but that can’t be set loose

Because of regret, hatred, deceit and a whole world of pain

So tell, while my heart lies in shreds at your feet, bleeding but never stops beating

Were your words true? Or only a figment of my imagination?
