It's not something I say a lot
When I vowed unformally to be yours
It wasn't because I wanted to tell you what you wanted to hear
It's because I truly meant it
The way your eyes stuck to mine when I said that word
truly
it made everything so much more real
It's as if I had never seen you before
It was love at first sight
I never meant anything so much
I truly love you
