Trump: A National Emergency

Trump: A National Emergency

Trump: the emergency you voted for,

With twittering nerve cells, a lesion

Oozing out the gangrene of treason,

Subverting democracy to the core,

Turning out lies from a skilled orator

Who perverts language with slanted reason,

Wrapped in fake facts believed in this season

When fear creates truth through a red hat roar.

Cowards bow with bended conscience broken

To a saddle, girth-knotted to deceit

On a horse colic from the molded bread

Kneaded in unbridled speeches spoken

By a tyrant, blind to see from his seat

How the Constitution will rise from the dead.
