The Trumpet

When you see me, what do you see?

A brass instrument.

A dream.

An ambition.

A lifestyle.

Such positive light, but others, they don't see me that way.

Instead I'm,

A frustration.

A moment of weakness.

An annoyance.

A dissapointment.

What am I to you?

I don't want to be a dissapoint ment, the frusration.

I want to be a dream, an abition.

I want to be the insrument you play, no matter how you feel.

I want to see your eyes glimmer just like my bell.

I hope those who see me in a negative light,

Soon learn to see me as I really am, beautiful.

Those of you who love me, never stop!

So what am I to you?
