Nowadays its hard to put your trust in anyone People love to lie and play with hearts just for fun I love you's are just words and promises never last And what was meant to be forever is now in the past Like the clothes on their back, people always change They get around certain people and tend to forget your name But when they need something from you they suddenly remember your name But the world is full of deceivers so don't get caught up in the game Its sad that the friendship has to come to an end But nothing good ever comes if one has to pretend One always speaks the truth never thinking to tell a lie One always has more lies than the stars in the sky Its amazing how something so sweet just turned out to be rotten And now what once was is now lost and forgotten.
