Trust
Sadness slowly washes over me
as my trust in starts to fade
but there still a speck of hope
the only thing that keeps me going
we were the best of freinds
partners in crime
but you went and turned you back on me
like i meant nothing at all to you
that speck of hope has me believing
you'd go back to the person you were before
day by day the hope fades
bitterness slowly takes it place
knowing you'll never change
all i have left are bittersweet memories
locked up in a box
hidden safely in the back of mind
I hope its the same for you
because i doubt i can put my trust in you ever again.
