Trust Issues

Location

It was you that made me trust again
I could confess almost everything to
We shared our laughs, and pain
Together

You had me in your grasp
And mesmerized by your charm
And without realizing, I fell for
You

We started talking more
But not really seeing each other
Not knowing who’s around or not
I still trusted you

But, there’s always that cursed “but”!
You had a girlfriend that I knew
Nothing about and you said so casually
Like she meant nothing to you

But you still “wanted” me
Or at least made it seem to be
Now I sit here partly broken
His name never spoken
Trust issues has found a new friend in me
