Trust Means Rust
Trust in fear because it’s real but
Reclaim yourself from fear
Usurp your right to be you
So you can stand up for your beliefs
To face mistakes with tact
Mold yourself to be the momentum
Exacted for the progress you desire.
Analyze your steps before you shout!
Nettle gossip and criticism with neglect.
Sarcasm is the best answer for such lies.
Reality reels liars from their lies like a smear.
Understanding that fact helps you
Stay safe from two timers and snakes.
Trust in fear but learn to act not react.
Author’s Notes:
Sometimes colors indicate states of mind and temperaments more than the ornamental and visual attributes they are associated with. When relationships decay due to betrayal and misuse of confidence, one must learn to rust before they can trust again and by rust I mean to age with wisdom and rise with tact. Trials are the fire that rages rust within to raise trust in ourselves before we can trust others.
