Trust Like Thunder

Why fear the people of the world?

Aren't we from one, and for one?

When everyone wants hope--

Everyone wants to be loved like thunder

You see? We have a common goal.

When we're young, and trust is all we have

The thunder will catch your falls

From the highest places

And no one said "thank you."

Why hide your hearts?

Whether you bear grief like thunder

Or joy, or love

Don't we all feel the same?

Don't we all bear one yolk?

I want to hear the ocean's laugh

When our spirits meet

When we give, and in turn receive

Trusting love, like thunder
