Trust In You Alone

At the foot of the cross, I see love poured out. 7-inch nails driven through His hands and feet that held Him there, with a crown of thorns struck on His head. Christ's death was so gruesome, so painful, yet He endured it because His love for us was greater still. A love like this I cannot fathom, far beyond my comprehension. What was agony became my freedom, what was darkness became my light. The nails, the crown, the spear that pierced His side; all because He loved me. My Savior, with nail-scarred hands, stood in the place where I should've been, bearing the fullness of God's wrath for me. Every breath I breathe is a gift of His mercy to wake each morning, to live another day, to walk in His goodness, to make His name known. Because of the brutal agony He endured, but of the victorious and glorious work my Savior did for you and me on the cross at Calvary. Whatever may come in my life, I know that Christ is right there with me. With my new beginnings, I will trust that in every opportunity, God's hand is within it all. I will trust in You alone, O my God. If you shut the door, I know another will open when the time is right. Only in You can I find all that I will ever need. In You alone I will trust, my firm foundation, my sure confidence, my eternal joy and hope. May Your will be done, O Lord. I will trust in Your goodness and Your faithfulness. Amen. To God be the glory, the praise, forever and ever, for all eternity.

Just tryna' write poetry that always glorifies God and who He is, what he has done for me, and what He can and will do for you! If God can transform my life, I know without a doubt he can transform yours too! You are NEVER too far gone, or broken for God! Come to Jesus just as you are and give your life to him and watch the change happen when you turn to Jesus and live for Him!! Being a Christian is never easy, just as life isn't easy, but our only hope is in Jesus Christ the one and only!!
