Trusting Him

He’s asking me to put my trust in him, And I want to, so I’m trying my best. But it’s hard. Having faith in guys has brought me so much pain That I don’t want to hand him my whole heart Until I know he won’t break it. But how will I know that it’s okay? Isn’t taking risks the point of growing up? By holding back, am I really doing myself good? Would I be better off surrendering?
