Truth?

by Sara Feldman

The truth is

we are what we eat.

The truth is

we look how we feel.

The truth is

money makes the world go round.

The truth is

your hair looks better blonde than brown.

The truth is

looks are everything.

The truth is

you are what you possess.

The truth is

that although all these things might be,

It's also true that we can change them

with truths.

The truth is

I eat burgers.

and the truth is

I'm not a burger.

To tell you the truth,

sometimes I smile when I'm sad.

because the truth is

that if you smile, you can't stay sad.

The truth is

money makes the world go round

and the truth is

thats OK.

The truth  is

people work hard for their money

to acquire things they otherwise woldn't have the ability of constructing on their own

and the truth is

thats OK.

The truth is

that some truths are better than others

and the truth is

we each have the power to create our own truths and change others.

The truth is

I want to change truths.
