The Truth
As she pushed herself up off the pavement she got sick again
Unable to walk she stumbled home
Tears and vomit stained her face
Her hair was a matted mess
Had she known that things were going to turn out like this, she might have just stayed at home by herself in the safety of her solitude
Tired and broken
Alone and forgotten
Was it time to give up or to give in
She did not know anymore
Time and time again this happened
Rejected
Torn
So many times were her spirits lifted just to be thrown down and stepped on by those closest to her
Trust me they would say
And heartbroken she would end up
They say you can not love others until you love yourself
But how many times must you be thrown down before you realize you are just simply unloveable
The truth hurts
But nothing hurts more then the truth being told to you from the ones you love most
