The Truth
The Truth
We’ve been lied to our entire lives, told it was ok and to our inconspicuous surprise it wasn’t. Could we as a society not handle the undeniable truth? We weren’t blind enough to miss it. I ask myself again and again why people lie, even those who we love. I was lied to time after time such as your father loves you; it was your mothers fault for our miscommunications. Lies, lies and more lies. Why does this dismal world have to be filled with such people? Who despise and defile any trickle of hope or good on those looking to make a rise. The lies we tell to obliterate any chance of hope. Lies, lies and more lies. He’ll be ok, and then he dies. Love will bring no pain and I will live forever. These lies nearly drive us off the peaceful cliff of insanity and like a movie; it rains and it rains. The tears we shed fill oceans with gallons upon gallons or perpetuate pain. I estimate a billion lies told in a day 100 times that in a lifetime. Why can’t honesty be a trait? I guess now-a-days the truth is just to overrated.
