Truth

Truth: the most powerful thing.

Truth: it’s what makes us sing.

It’s what we beg for, what we truly need.

What we ask for, nag and plead.

Whether you think you’re ready or not,

When raw truth hits you, won’t be expecting the force it’s got.

Even liars know the value truth holds.

Truth makes for the best lie, if you’re bold.

Lies hold truth, when you cut to the core.

Chop down the thickets, the walls and the thorns.

It’s the smallest of seeds, a mustard, if you will.

Yet when truth takes this form, with no doubt, it can kill.

Whichever form truth takes, hidden or not, warped or caught.

Truth packs a punch, this isn’t just a hunch.
