Truth

I live in a world where there is good and evil

I understand that life isn't made to be easy

I look to others to see their life

I never knew I could see it all.

I want to know what makes a person

Speak words of disrespect

To cut the wounds of someones soul

To expose their flesh.

Give me a reason

For why you pick on those

With weak minds and souls.

Does it make you feel powerful?

With every word you can break a person

Make them feel like they don't matter

I'll never be able to see

Why it gives you pleasure.

In my life I have seen so much pain

My eyes have witnessed things of destruction

My ears have heard cries for help, anger and fear

My heart has felt heavy with sadness for those who are hurt

If I could take away all their pain I would.

Just remember that everyone has pain

It's your choice if you want to speak the words that could ruin a life.
