Truth

Torn, tattered, tantalized; Illuminating darkness fills your eyes. Emotion fueled from burning lies, The truth covered with a convincing disguise Corrupt, clashed, criticized; Is the truth worth this sacrifice? Pain caused from untruthful ties, Could this be how our values abide? Monkish, modesty, moralized; Fidelity to soon be realized. Fiery deceit will be extinguished in time, This accusation's verity will be tried.
