Truth
I don’t believe the words you say:
Those complements blending white noise,
just consents and vowels strung together
something you say to ease the pain.
NO now they no longer can hurt me....
that damage is already done!
Kids they are and always will be mean
“sticks and stones, YES they brake my bones
and words have ALWAYS hurt me”
down to my soul....
I'll never let go...
those names drilled deep in to my head
But I show no tears.
Hide it from my face.
Just cut all the joy and love.... leave no trace.
Easy little cuts like scissors to paper.
For my safety, my heart cant bled
and I cant, I don’t believe,
I am not a prize, I don’t deserve to be won by the “best”.
“b-e-a-utiful” that’s what he said.
Rolls from your tongue and my ears hear it,
my brain refuses to believe it.
They taught me love is for the perfect, the pretty, the “dolls”
not the broken, the ugly, the rusted toys.
STOP! No I know they lied!! I am not broken!
I am beautiful, I have a propose!
Now they can eat those words.
Ill fight for my happy ending...
because I am a princess, just like all girls!
No child needs to feel that pain.
Everyone of them is a priceless gift.
More precious then jems and gold.
I felt that pain, now is my gain.
Love, that silly thing they said id never have....
THEY WERE WRONG
