The TRUTH

The TRUTH

Do you really want the truth?

I am ME, I am......

Who actually am I?

Am I the 5 year old that got raped until she was 11?

or I the dancer with the nice boobs?

or the singer with the nice ass?

or maybe I'm just Aerin.

Maybe I want to be known for my personality not my looks

Maybe I want to be known for what I'm doing for the community

not for what people think I can give them

Maybe I want to be me?

Can I be me?

Or will I always have to be the “black girl who can throw that ass back”

Can I be a person?

or will I always be a thing to only have sex with

Can I have mind?

Or will i be called crazy because my ideas can change the world

I can change the world

So who am I really?.........

I am a BLACK WOMAN who can change the WORLD

and nobody can stop me

I am ME

I am Aerin

I am stronger, wiser, and better

and I’m only going up from here.

I am me
