The Truth

There are a million ways

To say goodbye

To put out the blaze

And just get by

But there are no ways
That I know of
To get out of the haze
And to free love

There are no words
That I could say
To make everything better
Or make it go away

When you make the decision
To feel with your heart
You have to be ready
For it all to fall apart

Sometimes the choice to feel
Is not the right one
Sometimes its better
To go completely numb

To save yourself from everything
From the feelings of disaster
It helps make everything
Go by much much faster

Ive done it to myself again
I let myself fall
To find out later
That i regret it all

No matter what age
Whatever shape or size
The feeling of letting go
Is one you can never disguise
