To Truth

Truth,

you can't live without Lie.

You love him too much to let him go.

Truth,

you're the better half, so he makes you feel better.

Your friends don't like him though.

They think Lie is a bad influence on you.

But Truth,

you push this all out of your head,

you say you're a team,

and separation is too much to bear.

Truth and Lie,

you chase each other's tails and are irrational in your emotions,

you walk on sandy beaches to the end of the ocean,

you spin each other around as the rest of the world is watching,

You stop.

And you stare,

and you gaze,

until the once familiar Truth, becomes a lie.

Truth,

you realize you're living a lie.

You're becoming Lie.

It's not your purpose in life.

Truth,

you know it won't work out in the end.

Truth and Lie,

You are both nonexistent without each other, but it doesn't mean you have to be,

together.

The fragility of relationships.

The balance.
