Truth

The truth is... You were the light in my darkness You were the music in my soul You were the laughter filling the air ...or so I thought... In reality... You were the darkness pressing closer to my light You were surpressing the music in me And you were the reason why the nights were silent and the days were long. The truth is, I thought you were everything I wanted, but you were actually just the thing that took away everything I actually needed.
