Truth

Depression is fun

said no one ever

Its never ending

And believe me its clever

Its not one sad day

Or a moment gone wrong

Its a feeling forever

One that strings me alone

My depression wears smile

Even laughter sometimes

Not just teardrops and darkness

To fill all my rhymes

Depression is weird

As I´m sure you'll agree

It is complex and frustrating

Because it wont set me free

It will hold tight and hurt you

Make you think you're alone

It'll leave scars and claim you

Say you're just accident prone

My depression lies

And cheats me each day

Makes me think no one loves me

Despite what they say

So I shut off my brain

And shove it deep down

Yet somehow i miss it

When my depressions not around

My depression hurts when I keep it

But I miss it when its gone

No matter what I try

I simply cannot move on

My depression is part of me

Laughter tears and all

So I´ll smile with every sorrow

And rise each time I fall

Because although it hurts me dearly

And its scars won't seem to fade

It's through my broken pieces

My true beauty is made.
