The Truth

Sometimes it hurts to know the truth.

It hurts to know that this is reality and you can't change anything.

You try to reach out and all you get is silence.

You try to live in that silence but pain is always the winner.

Sometimes it hurts to know the truth,

It hurts to know that this is reality, but most of all,

it hurts to know that you can't do anything about what has already happened.
