Truth
I try but just receive a lie.
Why can’t you say what is so true?
Don’t you know all I do is try?
In the end you will be hurting
And I will be spreading the word
About how you have been flirting
But I will have been undeterred.
For I know that I tell the truth
Because I know fact from fiction,
And you will be stuck in your youth.
You cannot break your addiction.
But I am strong and am working
And will look back at you, smirking.
