The Truth Is...

Poems aren't something

                                                                                                    I

Particularly love.

I understand that they are a form of art

And some people

                                                                                                    Really

Love them

Because they're a good way to release feelings of hurt and

                                                                                                     Hate.

I, on the other hand, find them very depressing.

So, they're my least favorite form of

                                                                                                     Writing.

I prefer essays, novels, and even research papers.

They're typically easier to interpret

And don't leave me sad or confused.

However, as much as I dislike

                                                                                                     Poems

I'm glad they exist for those who love them.
