Truth

Truth: the worst kind of hurt

Lost, scared, behind every word

Excruciating knowing your nothing

Swiftly cutting your heart the things you’ve heard

“It’s for your own good”

“I’m doing this for you”

Really for me?

Sarcasm; it’s not true

You’re lying; we both know

Strange how one word can change us

LOVE: the unbearable hole

Darkness nothing is truly there

But you stare like it is truth

Like this is the only way

You lied and cheated

Though you won’t say

No it didn’t have to be like this

What else can I do?

I’m dying with the sound of your voice

Wishing I didn’t care about you

Truth: I want to ask: WHY?

We were fine

“I’ll always love you.”

Gulping down the wound

No, you never did

Truth: I was the fool for loving you

Always the wrong choice

Trusting those who don’t care

I turn away

The Truth is My Heart is no longer there
