The Truth about Growing Up

When we look back at

The childhood we had

We don't often see

Every transition

Every victory

Every bit of us

But what we do know

Is that through it all

Through every hardship

And setback and wall

We learned, changed, and grew

Once we recognize

That we are learning,

changing, and growing

That is when we know

We are growing up
