Truth and Happiness and Reason

Our birth is but a sleep and a forgetting

That there is no god.

In the faith that looks through death

They neither speak nor call to each other.

Urged by this view, I refused;

I awakened to reason!

I shall die, and what I feel be no longer felt.

Dead silence

A wise man sees not the same tree that a fool sees.

And in this condition I must find my happiness.
