The Truth Behind a Story

Plead me a story, one of sanction, one of law.

Hollow words mar the paper

Argue the point but lost the purpose

Never settled. Never cured.

Tell me a story, one of pride, one of war.

A world of carnivorous presence and deliberate chaos.

Step in time, don’t get lost- less you become obsolete.

March to the drum, fall to the silence.

Attain me a story, one of love, one of loss.

Gather the prospects and let all revel-

Order them to bed, so valiant a fight.

Read me a story, one of dreams, one of corruption.

Ignite a reason, flourish a tale, lead with vengeance.

Cold and alone are we-

A raging beast leveled by our own hate.

Let me tell you a story, one of life, one of death.
