The Truth In Disguise

Happy face, smiley face,

It doesn’t define me.

Only if there was a best face

To show them the real me.

For the truth isn’t allowed in a household like mine

So be it as my pain and sorrow remain in disguise

Screams, shouts, and my unhearing cries,

That someone could save me and take me to Christ.

Sometimes I think my purpose is to lie

For I have never told a single truth in my life
