Truth into Fiction

Guess I'm
Mad as a hatter
As you natter
Bout matters
That not mattering
Scatter
Crystal clarity

Stead of
Diffusing truth
Like a bomb
It's just poof
Cause now proof is uncouth
Affect's
Causality

Hot air's
Sinking the ships
Boogeyman's
Subpar wits
Anti-matter-of-factly
Described
To a tee

Think you're
Leonidas
Twitt'ring bout
Xerx's niceness
'Always was right beside us'
Madness
Manifestly

This is, so far, my least favorite poem I've written. It's less a piece than a series of loosely connected quips.
