Truth or Lie

If I told you the truth Would you run? If I told you a lie Would you stay? I’m just as everyone else I’m a soul of the night I live in the perfect light I live in the midnight I love everyone Pure love I hate everyone Bitter hate What is truth? What is lie? Will you run? Will you stay?

This poem was inspired by a time in my life that I am sure everyone goes through....not knowing who you are or perhaps who you want to be. Sometimes people try to remake or reform themselves based on this idealized cool mysterious version of someone they might want to be, usually with some tragic past or perhaps the opposite, a goody two shoes. But sometimes in the mix you yourself get lost and confused. you know longer know who you are or what part it is you made up. This is what this poem is about.
