Truthful Lie, A Poetry Story

Surrounded by unknown lovers. One day, you'll start falling for her. So you fight for her heart, thinking life would be better. Thinking she's the one staying with you forever. Thinking she's the sun in a rainy weather. You promised you won’t ever leave her. You’ll always stay together. Now life’s a fairy tale, Living happily ever after. Nine months passed and it’s going crazy. No cuddles or kisses, both getting lazy. Sweet talks turned bitter sour. Arguments that lasts over an hour. She’s sitting in the corner crying. You’re doing nothing except accusing her of lying. The trust you had is slowly dying. She tells the truth but you keep denying. Intimate feelings turned to pointless fighting. Both dealing with pain, things turned less exciting. Moreover, things are close to being over. Now you think back Thinking why you chose her. You never wanted anyone one to have her. You promised you’re always there for her. Look where you are now, She runs out and so you chase her. Blindly running across the street. High beams coming at full speed. All you see is smoking tires screeched. Too late to slam on the brakes. Tonight one lover’s heart will break…. Rain dropped from the sky. Everyone’s shedding tears, Even the heavens cried. This was a day we’ve all feared. She’s standing in front of you. You spread your wings and flew. She’s crying in pain. She’s soaked from the rain. She’s left heartbroken. You saved her from the crash. You told her five words, Which were you’re last. There was nothing she could do. You grabbed her hand, Said “I’m always there for you” So faith got twisted and death flew by. You’ve just told her a truthful lie. What you’ve said made you a truthful liar. You’re with her but can’t be by her. However, your love is buried deep inside her. Even though you’re gone forever. You died without knowing, Your love was her one and only desire.
