Try

You know the saying, “You never know until you try?”

Well that is how poetry caught my eye.

I needed a way to express my feelings,

It also gave me a form of creative healing.

Poetry allows me to share,

And each time I am able to add my own little flare.

No judgment in sight,

No matter how it was created it was always right.

The more I wrote, the more I noticed it around me,

They are found in raps, and even in song by the famous Queen B.

I never thought poetry would turn out this way.

As long as I keep poetry with me I know that my creativity will be here to stay.
