to try to let go

I think its time to move on from the memories I just can't escape,

Start over with something new with new ones to make,

Because I can't stand there anymore in hope that she'll see,

That I tried to be "just friends" but its to hard to believe,

That every seconds gone of every loving memory,

And every single thought of what you meant to me,

Is slowly fading away and I just can't seem to keep it,

While I hurt because I missed you and you just couldn't seem to see it,

I tried so hard to hop on to that feeling of hope,

In hope you would see me like you did before and I wouldn't have to try to let go,

I tried to let go before but for some reason I couldn't,

And its not that i shouldn't but it has always been that I wouldn't,

Let go of you knowing its to hard,

I hide this feeling at school but once I'm at my house I feel like falling apart,

Well for every memory that to you is now gone are the ones I keep in my heart,

But its time to move on and form a new start.
